Drug Seizure: K1.365 billion worth Heroin seized in Kengtung

1.365 billion kyat worth 91 kilos of heroin were seized in Kengtung Township of Shan State (East), according to Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprised of Anti-Narcotic Task Force searched a 12-wheel HINO Vehicle driven from Mong Pyin to Kengtung near Kengphaung Village on 1st January.

This led to the seizure of 260 blocks of heroin along with 2 suspects. According to interrogation, these heroin blocks have been transported to Tachileik Township from Kunhing Township. The suspects have been taken actions in line with the law.
