

Officers of the Drug Enforcement Division and security forces in Tachilek, Shan State, arrested three men and confiscated numerous equipment used for manufacturing illegal drugs and firearms from them between 3 to 4 of June.
Police officers stopped two vehicles driven by two men identified as Hein Min Htike and Min Min Latt around 3 pm on 3rd June and confiscated a blending machine, a drying machine with ‘BLOMYUI’ labelled on it, a machine for imprinting, and 100 bags containing 20,000 small packets each used for packaging drugs.
Upon further investigation, the police arrested a man named Sai Aung Kham near Meyan joint inspection gate, Tachilek Township around 4 pm and raided his house in Yan Aung Myay Ward of the same township at 5:45 am on 4 June.
Police confiscated 4,000 psychotropic tablets, 0.8 kilos of the drug ICE, 4 guns and their related cartridges and bullets, 3 hand grenades, 6 machines for producing tablets, 3,916 molds for the drugs, 800 mold heads, and 69 bags each containing 20,000 smaller bags for packaging the illegal drugs.
Myanmar Police Force reports they have opened a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law against the three men.
