Drug Seizure: Illegal chemical substances seized in Thazi Township

Illegal chemical substances worth 168 million kyats were sized in Thazi township of Mandalay Region, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

A combine team of anti-narcotic unit searched DONGFENG ၂၂-wheeled vehicle driven by Tun Myit Oo on Thazi-Taunggyi motor road near Kywe Tat Sone village in Thazi Township of Mandalay region on 14th September and seized 21-ton of PHENOL LOOSE CRYSTALS chemical substances worth 168 million kyats.

According to the interrogation, the seized chemical substances were illegally transported to Shan State from Yangon region and actions are taken against the culprits according to the law.
