Drug Seizure: Heroin worth over 610 million Kyats seized

Illegal drug was seized in southern Shan State. In Pinlaung Township area of the state, 40.95 kilograms of heroin worth over 610 million Kyats destined for Kayin State were confiscated. 2 men were arrested along with the seizure. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
