Drug Seizure: 680 million kyats worth stimulant tablets seized in Yangon

A combined team including members of Anti-narcotic police unit arrested Nyein Chan Aung @ Tue Tue together with 150,000 stimulant tablets near Phawtkan market, Insein Township, Yangon Region on 6th June.

According to investigation, 530,000 stimulant tablets were seized at the building of Sai Zaw Min Oo @ Ko Sai, at the Nyaung Hna Pin Agriculture Farm, Hmwebi township.

According to the Myanmar Police Force, as a total of 680,000 tablets worth 680 million kyat were seized, and action has been taken in line with the law and investigations are underway.
