Drones light up New York skyline raising awareness on climate crisis

A thousand drones light up the New York skyline forming images of the iconic Amazonian wildlife to raise awareness of the climate crisis, ahead of a UN summit on sustainable development and the city's climate week.

Climate Week NYC is a pivotal milestone in a collective journey toward COP28. This year being held September 17th-24th alongside the United Nations General Assembly, it is the largest annual climate event of its kind.

The centerpiece of the High-Level Week of the General Assembly is the SDG Summit on September 18th-19th, marking a midpoint for the deadline set for achieving the 2030 Agenda. The decisions made and actions taken during these key moments will shape the trajectory and success of global sustainability initiatives.
