Dragon Boat Event: Myanmar won five gold in the World Championships

From the 25th to 27th October, Myanmar won two gold and one silver medals at the Dragon Boat World Cup, held in the People's Republic of China.

Myanmar men team won silver medal at 200-meter event, at which Indonesia and Thailand grabbed gold and bronze medals respectively. At 500-meter mixed event, Myanmar stood first place while Thailand and Indonesia finished at 2nd and 3rd places. 

Likewise, Myanmar ranked first at 2000-meter men event while Hongkong and Russia stood 2nd and 3rd respectively. Moreover, Myanmar ranked 4th at 2000-meter mixed event. Myanmar team participated in a total of 8 competitions and won 8 medals including five gold, two silver and a forth place. On the 27th, Myanmar team left for the Philippines to participate in 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Cup in Puerto Princesa.
