Donation of Waso Robe: Sagaing Region CM provided foodstuff to Sangha

A ceremony of donating Waso Robe and provisions of rice, cooking oil, salt and bean to the members of Sangha who are presiding in Saddhamma Pajjotayon monastery and Ywa-U monastery in Monywa Township was held in the morning on 8th August and attended by sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and wife, Region Ministers and wives, Chairmen and members of Monywa District and Township administrative bodies.

First, Chief Minister and wife and Region Ministers offered Waso Robe and rice, cooking oil, salt and beans to the invited Sayadawgyis and chief Minister supplicated religious matters.

At the donation ceremony, Sagaing Region Government donated 49 rice bags, 89 visses of cooking oil, 37 visses of salt and 89 visses of beans to a total of 298 members of Sangha residing in those two monasteries.  

After that, Chief Minister and officials arrived at the working site of laying nylon asphalt on Aung Hsu Pyae road which is 1600 feet long and 18 feet wide in Aung Chantha Ward of Monywa Township.

The Chief Minister and party heard the clarification of Director of Region development Committee regarding with the laying nylon asphalt.

Upon the clarification, the Chief Minister gave necessary instruction, coordinated requirements and inspected laying asphalt.
