Donation for staff members: MYANWEN donated cash, solar lamps, medicines

The Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network (MYANWEN) donated cash, solar-powered lamps, and medical supplies to staff members of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement who were affected by the Mandalay earthquake.

Following the damage caused by the quake, temporary container housing was arranged for affected ministry staff.

In support of these efforts, MWEN provided a donation of 12.3 million kyats, 123 solar lamps, and supplies of muscle pain relief ointments. The donation ceremony took place at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on July 9.

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win accepted the donation, expressed his appreciation and returned a certificate of honour in recognition of the support provided.
