Donation Ceremony: MSWRR Union Minister accepts the donations

Myanmar Gems & Jewellery Entrepreneurs Association donated school furniture and stationery for the basic education schools affected by the impact of Typhoon Yagi in South China Sea was held at the Disaster Management Center under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement on Friday.

At the ceremony, Union Minister Dr. Soe Win accepted the donations, expressed words of thanks and returned the certificate of honor. A total of 450 sets of study tables and chairs worth 50 million kyats, 470 dozen of school exercise books and 2,700 pieces of pen donated by the Myanmar Gems & Jewellery Entrepreneurs Association have already been distributed to 16 Basic Education Schools of the Department of Basic Education under the Ministry of Education on 10th October.
