Donation Ceremony : Medicines and medical supplies for healthcare system

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win attended a donation ceremony on Friday where SDG Group Inc. from South Korea and MCS Group Co., Ltd from Myanmar donated medicines and medical supplies to support Myanmar's healthcare system.

The Union Minister expressed appreciation for the donation, valued at about 2.7 million US Dollar, which was received in July and used effectively in earthquake-affected areas following the severe Mandalay earthquake on March 28. He highlighted the long-standing health cooperation between Myanmar and South Korea, including regular medical missions for liver transplants, dental care, and orthopedic surgeries.

He encouraged continued collaboration in the healthcare sector. SDG Group Chairman Mr. Song Dae-kwan also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to support Myanmar’s emergency response efforts and reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing cooperation in healthcare and education.
