Donation Ceremony: Book donated for libraries under Ministry of Information

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn on Wednesday attended book donation ceremony by Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe (MyintSoe-Natala) at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw.

The book the Deputy Minister wrote on his own is for libraries under the Ministry of Information. There, the Deputy Minister explained how the articles about the Cyclonic Storm Mocha came to be written, the feelings that occurred while writing, collection of information when the articles are compiled and published as a book, distribution of the book free of charge and aim of the donation.

And, the Deputy Minister donated 100 copies of the book titled ‘Efforts for the recovery of Rakhine State affected by the Cyclonic Storm Mocha’. In return, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint presented a certificate of honour.

In his part, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn expressed words of thanks for the book donation and writing the book by collecting recovery information in details at departments and from locals. The Union Minister also stressed that it is a very valuable book as it has already recorded the actions taken by various departments for the rehabilitation of Rakhine State.
