Dominican municipality organizes plastic-for-toys exchange day to promote recycling

As part of the "Three Kings Day celebration" and to encourage public participation in the collection of recyclable plastic material, the municipality of Santo Domingo organizes a plastic-for-toys exchange day, allowing hundreds of Dominicans to receive bicycles and dolls.

The event, scheduled for Sunday at the National District City Hall. Since its inception, Plastics for Toys has collected over 14 million bottles, making it the largest environmental awareness event in the country.
