District Level Instructor Courses: 2024 Population and Housing Census Enumeration

The Ministry of Immigration and Population is conducting District Level Instructor Courses for 2024 Population and Housing Census Enumeration in Yangon Region.

On Wednesday, Chairman of the Central Census Commission Union Minister U Myint Kyaing visited the training venues, and met with the trainees.

The Union Minister emphasized the crucial role of the trainees for successful conducting of the census, relaying their knowledge gained from the training to the township level courses. He stressed the need to overcome the challenges during the enumeration based on experiences.

He called for making concerted efforts of all involved persons to gain public cooperation for successful implementation of the census enumeration. During these visits, the support items for census enumeration were provided to the trainees.

The 2024 Population and Housing Census is scheduled to conduct from October 1st to 15th. At present, District Level Training Courses are being conducted across regions and states, followed by the Township Level courses for census examiners and census takers.
