Dissemination of Legal Knowledge: Bago Region CM attended opening of training

The opening ceremony of the Legal Dissemination Training Course No. 1 took place at Thiri HinThar Hall in Bago Township, with Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win in attendance.

In his address, the Chief Minister emphasized that civil service personnel, who adhere to state-enacted laws and serve the public, must have increased exposure to legal knowledge. He underscored the importance of the rule of law and regional security as foundational elements for the nation's development. The Chief Minister called on everyone to respect and follow the existing laws and by-laws, highlighting that building a modern and developed country requires every citizen to be knowledgeable about and compliant with the law. He pointed out that the training would offer valuable opportunities for the civil service personnel and legal professionals to deepen their understanding of the law through practical aspects.

After that, he viewed round the law books on the dissemination of Legal knowledge and the practical usage of Myanmar Law Information System website through online. The course joined by 62 Region/District/Township level departmental personnel, covers the knowledge of the Civil Service Law, People’s Military Service Law, Anti-Corruption Law, Counter-Terrorism Law, Electronic Communication Law, and Criminal Law.
