Discussion on sports development: MoSYA UM held meeting with Taninthayi Region CM

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan held a discussion with Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko at the Tanintharyi Region Government office in Dawei on January 28.

The meeting focused on the development of sports and youth affairs. After the discussion, the Union Minister presented necessary sports equipment to the Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister to support the region in developing a new generation of athletes.

Following this, the Union Minister, along with the Chief Minister and relevant officials, visited the indoor stadium, the sports field, as well as the Futsal Court at Shwe Wei Thiri square, ShweWaiThiri Sports Hall for inspections. During the visit to the ShweWaiThiri Sports Hall, the Union Minister met and encouraged young volleyball players in training.

The Union Minister then inspected the bodybuilding and judo training gyms and later visited the ShweWaiThiri table tennis team. During the visit, the Union Minister met with the team members and discussed how to provide the necessary support to meet their requirements.

Additionally, the Union Minister met with the staff of the Dawei District/Township Sports and Physical Education Department and delivered a speech, addressing their needs and ensuring that their requirements would be met.
