






On September 2nd, Vice Chair (1) of the Rakhine State Stability, Peace, and Development Work Coordination Committee, Union Minister for the Ministry (2) of Union Government Office, U Ko Ko Hlaing, led a delegation of diplomats from various embassies based in Myanmar to continue a study visit to Rakhine State.
The delegation, led by the Union Minister, also took a tour of the Taung Pyo Letwe Reception Camp in Maungdaw Township, where officials provided detailed explanations regarding the arrangements for repatriating displaced individuals and the various work processes for accepting returnees.
They also observed the facilities and infrastructure in place for the returning individuals. The delegation proceeded to Kyein Chaung (South) Village, which is intended to serve as accommodation for the returnees. They viewed the houses and land plots designated for the returning individuals.
The delegation also visited to the Hla Phoe Khaung Transit Camp, where officials provided reports on the arrangements for providing temporary shelter and humanitarian assistance to the returnees. In the evening, the Union Minister and the diplomats returned to Nay Pyi Taw via Sittwe.
