




To commemorate the 67th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relation between Myanmar and the Philippines, the Myanmar series “Chit Hla Swe Thaw” was created as a gesture of bilateral art cooperation.
On the 15th of September, a press show of the series was held at Wyndham Grand Hotel in Yangon with the attendance of Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Yangon Region Advocate-General U Htay Aung and officials, the Charge de affaire ad interim of the Philippine Embassy in Myanmar, actors, actresses and invited guests.
Firstly, a video clip, commemorating the 67th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relation of the two countries was screened which was followed by the honouring video message by the Philippine Charge de affaire. After delivering commemorative speech by the producer of series, the Philippine Charge de affaire presented bouquets to the artists.
And, the ceremony was continuous by screening the trailer of the series. Myanmar’s Forever Group Holding Ltd., bought the Philippine famous series “My Dear Heart” which was broadcasted on the Philippine TV channels such as ABS-CBN, and recreated it with Myanmar artists.
The series is based on the loving kindness among people and created by director Ei Ei Khaing, starred by many famous actors and actresses including Moh Moh Myint Aung, Si Thu Win, Wint Yamon Naing and many others. This series will be brocasted through MRTV-4 free to air channel starting 19th September from Monday to Friday at 7 pm.
