Diplomatic Thingyan Festival: Celebration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yangon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a Diplomatic Thingyan Festival on Monday, at the lawn of the Myanmar Institute for Strategic and International Studies (MISIS), in Yangon to welcome the Myanmar New Year.
Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U LwinOo gave a welcome remark. It was attended by the diplomatic corps in Yangon and their family members, representatives from the United Nations and its agencies, representatives from Honorary Consulates, Chairman and members of the Myanmar Institute for Strategic and International Studies, officials and personnel from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, their family members and other invited guests.
The guests were served with Myanmar traditional delicacies and damsels from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs performed Thingyan traditional dances while getting soaked from sprinkling water.
