Diplomatic Relations: SAC Chairman accepts credentials of Chinese Ambassador

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the credentials of Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia at the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw on 21st August.

During the occasion, both sides highlighted the bilateral friendly relations with long history, standing firmly as good neighbours in line with the 5 principles of peaceful coexistence. They also discussed matters pertaining to enhancing mutual respect and cooperation, political developments in Myanmar, successful implementation of the bilateral beneficiary projects, collaboration in defence and security measures.

The discussion also focused on reopening of the trade routes in border areas and multi-sectoral cooperation as well as China’s stance for Myanmar on the international front and its firm support in implementing Myanmar’s 5-point road map.
