Dinner Reception: Senior General hosted a commemorative dinner

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife hosted a dinner on Wednesday, in honour of the 80th anniversary Armed Forces Day.

After the display of fireworks from the Parade Ground and the Bayintnaung Villa to commemorate the 80th anniversary Armed Forces Day, the Senior General and wife cordially greeted the attendees. Deputy Minister of Defence of Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin also joined the dinner reception.

Before and during the dinner, artistes from Myawady Music Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office and Myanmar Police Force as well as the artists from Russian Military Orchestra performed the audience with various songs and the dramatic play.

In honour of the 80th anniversary Armed Forces Day, colourful lights were also illuminated along the entrance road to the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office as well as the three glorious kings who established the first, second and third Myanmar Empires.
