




The digital museums are being implemented to show museums and libraries in Myanmar to the public with advanced technologies. The digital museums are being undertaken not only in the museums and libraries but also at the famous pagodas in the country to show the facts with digital directory.
As the first step in the implementation of digital museum, the Sri Ksetra Museum in Pyay Township of Bago Region has been transformed into a digital museum, and now 90 percent has been completed. Myanmar museums under the Department of Archaeology and National Museum are classified as 5 categories that are National Museum, Archeological Museum, Memorial Museum, Cultural Museum and Buddhist Museum.
There are a total of 32 museums in Myanmar. The website designs are being drawn for National Museums in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon, Mandalay Mya Nan San Kyaw Shwe Nan Taw Cultural Museum, Bagan Archaeological Museum, Bago Hanthawaddy Archeological Museum, Beikthano Archaeological Museum.
Upon completion of the tasks in these museums, the remaining museums will continue to work on it. When the website design is completed, online servers and offline servers will be set up at the relevant museums, and QR codes will be placed to be able to easily observe by the public.
