




Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin visited Thae Chaung (Rakhine) Village on Sunday, to inspect development works and instructed on necessary actions. They then proceeded to Hmansi Village and met with IDP camp leaders at the Management Committee Office.
Officials explained the need for cooperation with village authorities, following government instructions, supporting security and rule of law, maintaining cleanliness in camps and markets, fire safety measures, as well as improving education, health care, transportation, agriculture and livestock sectors.
The Chief Minister said that the office in Hmansi Village was opened to systematically assist the needs of nearby villages and IDP camps, and to better understand population data and livelihood conditions.
He urged camp leaders to report their needs to the office for quicker assistance, and to organize residents to maintain rule of law, cleanliness, health, and fire safety. Health staff from the Public Health Department are also providing regular healthcare services. The Chief Minister and party later provided food supplies to the camp leaders.
