Development Works: Shan State Chief Minsiter tours in Mongton

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung on Sunday inspected the construction of open market building in Myoma Market in Mongton Township in Shan State (East). Officials provided the update reports on the project, being implemented with the budget allotment of Shan State Government for 2024-2025 fiscal year.

In meeting with departmental personnel, community elder and locals at the Mongton District General Administration Department, the Chief Minister discussed the regional development works and provided the needs for water supply by mean of solar-power pumping system. He also called for collaboration in implementing agriculture and livestock works for local food sufficiency and development of the libraries.

During the meeting, cash assistance, foodstuff and solar-power lamps were provided for the staff. The Chief Minister and party later visited Lwe Kham Lon Village and participated in the stake driving ceremony for construction of the village library. The facility will be built with 15 million kyats budget allotment by the state.
