Development Works: Sagaing CM makes inspection in Monywa

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw inspected the work undertakings of cleaning activities at No.2 BEHS (Ahlone) in Monywa Township on 27th of May.

As it comes into school open season, collaborative cleaning activities were conducted in terms of physical cleanliness in and around the school compound including cutting tree branches, removing trash in the drainages, also, controlling dengue and for the school children to be able to study with good health by the members of Myanmar police force, fire brigade members, staff from general administration department, municipal staff and social organizations, teachers and service personal.

Those cleaning activities were inspected by the Chief Minister and concerned officials and then hosted meals for those who conducted cleaning works. Then, the chief minister and officials observed completion of construction of training school on industrial, agriculture and livestock breeding and preparations for teaching. They also supplemented necessary matters.

In order to get water sufficiency for the local residents in Monywa Township, the chief minister and party inspected the installation of solar panels for pumping water from Chindwin river into the West Kantharyar pond to prevent shortage of water in summer time.

The chief minister and party also inspected building of embankments by digging back water storage ponds at Kwegyi ward that can store a total of 60.29 gallons of water and solar panels installation which can produce 50 kilowatts in total to prevent scarcity of water.

Later, the chief minister and party inspected the building of additional water pumping station with solar system from Chindwin River in 16 water storage ponds and gave the necessary instructions.
