









Member of the State Administration Council, Daw Dwe Bu, along with Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nam, conducted a survey of the construction processes of a Hydro Power plant at Doktan Ward in Puta-O Township of Kachin State on September 19th.
During their visit, they met with departmental officials and town elders to discuss feasibility studies. Additionally, they participated in a donation ceremony at Taung Tan Sasana Pyu Monastery in Myo Ma Ward, where they generously contributed 7 sacks of rice, 4 buckets of cooking oil, offertories, and cash to the Sayadaws and members of the Sanga.
Later, they convened a meeting with district and township-level departmental officials, town elders, members of the Ethnic Literature and Culture Committee, ward and village-tract administrators, volunteers, and local residents at the Phonekanrazi Hall of Puta-O Township.
During this meeting, the SAC member emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the peace, stability, and law enforcement procedures in the country. Attendees reported on the development needs of Putao District, and officials provided updates on work implementations.
The Chief Minister also explained further and provided cash assistance to Ethnic Literature and Culture Associations and Social organizations.
In the afternoon, the delegation met with Christian Leaders and sought their blessings for the stability of the state, community peace, tranquility, rule of law, and development projects. Attendees discussed their needs, and the Chief Minister and officials elaborated on their plans.
During the meeting, rice, edible oil, and cash assistance were provided to 13 Christian organizations. Following that, the SAC member and the delegation attended the final match of the Inter-Club Men’s Football Tournament, which aimed to combat narcotic drug use in Putao District. Argapay Team emerged victorious, defeating Unity Team with a score of 5-1. Medals, awards, and cash prizes were presented to the best players, as well as the third and second prize winners.
The Championship Trophy and an honorary cash award were presented to the first prize winner. On the 20th, the SAC member and the delegation visited Namttarle Integrated Farm in Putao Station and provided necessary support.
They also explored the Rawan Cultural Museum, where they viewed displays of utensils, hunting weapons, traditional medicines, instruments, and an over-century-old Manaw Pole, along with documentary photos of prominent Rawan nationals. During their visit, they provided cash assistance to the Rawan Literature and Culture Association.
Furthermore, they visited the Government Technological Institute in Putao and observed the process of collecting biometric data and issuing Unique Identification Number Cards. They also witnessed students learning vocational education at the institute and provided cash assistance.
Finally, they attended a ceremony for spreading fertilizer at the monsoon paddy plantation in Matpan Ground of KaungkaHtaung Ward. They viewed a demonstration of natural fertilizer application and provided the necessary support.
