Development Works: Road upgrading and development works inspected

Hailing the 77th anniversary Independence Day, new roads were opened in Sagaing on December 13th. Chief Minister U MyatKyaw attended the opening ceremonies of the new roads, cutting the ceremonial ribbons.

The Waizayanda, Zeyapura, Bayintnaung, MashiKhana, Htupayone, Min, Zeyaman and Zay roads have been upgraded to the asphalt paving ones, and these roads were commission into service for public transportation.

Sagaing Township Development Committee undertook the road upgrading works, and the documentary photos of the work undertakings are put on display during the opening ceremony.

On the same day, the Chief Minister inspected the efforts for proper drainage system near Sagaing Hill and construction of hand rail along Sagaing-ChaungOo road to prevent erosion at Ayeyawady River Bank.
