Development Works: New Road opened in Maungtaw District of Rakhine State

Hailing the 78th anniversary Armed Forces Day, a new road was opened in Waithali Ward in Maungtaw District of Rakhine State on 24th March. The opening ceremony for Alae Road took place with the attendance of the Rakhine State Minister for Social Affairs and officials.

Waithali Ward was upgraded from a village level, and development works are being undertaken by the development affairs committee in line with the rules and regulations. The new road was constructed with the allotted budget of over 158 million kyats by Rakhine State Government. Pyi Sanda Company constructed the new road which is 1,950 ft long, 12 ft wide and 8 ft high.
