Development Works: Kachin State Chief Minister tours in Wai Maw

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan on 18th January visited Khat Cho Village-tract in Wai Maw Township to oversee the cultivation of double cropping in Kanton Field.

They also viewed the thriving of vegetable plantations, and fulfilled the needs for agricultural technique, and supply of irrigated water. On arrival at Khar Shi Village, the Chief Minister and party inspected breeding of poultry, and production of chicken feeds, fulfilling the needs for technical assistance and prevention measures for animal diseases.

During the tour, the Chief Minister viewed the landscaping works at the entrance of Wai Maw Town, cultivation of double cropping in Moat Hlawe Field, building fence and digging solar-powered tube wells.
