Development Works: Inspection trip in Shan State (East)

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe, together with officials made inspection trip in Shan State (East) on Thursday. They visited Pon Khet 5-mile Village in Mong Pyin Township and inspected the water sources.

In Mong Pyin, the Deputy Minister met with the staff from four departments under the ministry and instructed for timely completion of the ongoing projects for respective fiscal years. They later inspected the damage of office fence near Namt Pyein Creek, and 600 ft long concrete road in Sun Taung Village.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister and party arrived at Hsut Woe Village in Metman Township of Wa Self-administered Division,and provided cash assistance to the inpatients at the Station Hospital. They also provided books and periodicals and foodstuff for the health staff. In meeting with the local ethnic people.

The Deputy Minister provided assistance for construction of Multi-purpose Hall in Yaung Khun Village. On arrival at Min Yan Aung Village, the Deputy Minister met with the villagers and coordinated the needs for construction of water pumping plant, repairing the road, construction of multi-purpose hall and conducting training course for motorcycle repairing.

They later visited the village primary school and viewed the students learning there. In the evening, the Deputy Minister and party inspected the construction of roads in Nget Yaung and Kun Haung Villages. He also met with the villagers, providing the needs and also inspected the Basic Education High School.
