Development Works : Drainage works and market facilities inspected in Nay Pyi Taw

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U ThanTunOo, accompanied by the Vice Mayor of Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee oversaw the drain excavation works which was conducted in Myoma market in OttarathiriTownship of Nay Pyi Taw Council area on Thursday evening.

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and concerned officials commenced their inspection at Myoma market and inspected the cleaning and beautifying works of the market and stalls in the market. After inspection, they met with the relevant officials from Township Management and Development Committees and heard reports on the market cleaning tasks.

A total of 625 vendors sell various kinds of commodities, along with 47 market stalls and 1,092 shops on 6.13 acres of Myoma market. And, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman clarified the issues related to the fire safety, commodity price stability, cleanliness and tidiness in the market.

He then proceeded to Myawaddy Ward, and inspected the implementation of 1,250 ft long,4 ft wide and4 ft deepdrainagecanal. He gave instructions for timely completion in compliance with theestablished standards.
