Development Works: Cleaning activities and development works in Kachin State

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nam and departmental officials made inspection on the cleaning tasks in the compound of Myintkyina railway station on Saturday. The cleaning works are being implemented by drafting the projects aiming to create systemic environment for the locals and to become greening environ with the beauty of seasonal flowers.

The Chief Minister together with the concerned officials oversaw the removing of the debris of squatters’ houses and clearing bushs and garbage in the compound of staff housings and railway station area by the staff from Myanma Railway, State/District/Township level departmental officials. They also provided foods and drinking water to the participants.

Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected staff housing in the compound of railway station area and fulfilled the needs. Similarly, State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Colonel Aung Kyi Lin led the cleaning works of bushes along railway line between Myintkyina-NanKywe railway stations. 

Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected growing of flowers along Duwar Zawyit road which is connected Tatkone ward and Sitapu ward, as well as along the Balaminhtin road. He also viewed the production process of Paper Mill, distribution of irrigated water to be able to cultivate monsoon paddy  in 100 acrea model plots, to be able to implement fish farming systematically along Ingyankha creek in monsoon.
