Development Works: Chief Minister tours in Sittwe

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, accompanied by relevant officials, inspected the door-to-door voter registration verification in Sittwe Township, on Saturday morning.

In OeTan Ward, the Chief Minister expressed words of thanks to residents for their cooperation in ensuring that all eligible citizens are properly registered for the upcoming multi-party democratic general election. He also urged staff to perform their duties carefully and transparently and coordinated the needs.

The Chief Minister and party later proceeded to Mizan, MyoThuGyi, and TayarThi Su wards to observe the voter list verification conducted by Township Election Commission members and departmental staff and coordinated the necessary measures.

Next, they inspected the concrete paving and Box Culvert (1) construction on MyinSiPyin Road in PyiTawthar and West Sanpya wards. They heard reports and a supplementary presentation on the progress of the works. The Chief Minister instructed adherence to the required standards and the diligent and timely completion of the work. He also inspected the concrete paving in front of Sanpya Bakery in PyiTawThar Ward and the Box Culvert construction and heard reports on the ongoing work and future plans.

The Chief Minister instructed efforts to enhance the strength and durability of the roads during construction. The Chief Minister and party then oversaw the completed sections and ongoing work.
