Development Works: Better transportation for swift flow of commodities

Shan State Government is making efforts for swift flow of commodities, providing better transportation access in the state. As part of the efforts, Taunggyi Detour Road is being constructed connecting LaymaiGway and ShweNyaung. 

On Sunday, Chief Minister U Aung Aung visited the construction site and instructed for systematic land utilization and designation of road area, ensuring the well-organized urban area. At present, levelling works are underway for providing access to cargo trucks.

In addition, ShweNyaung Cargo Trucks Terminal is under construction while plans are underway to expand the road in front of Ngwe Gabar Recreation Park to allow the passing of cargo trucks.
