Development of Strategic Plans: Implementation of ASEAN Community Vision 2045

A coordination meeting on the development of Strategic Plans for the implementation of ASEAN Community Vision 2045among relevant ministries of three ASEAN Community Pillars was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and the Eminent Person of Myanmar for the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV) Dr. WahWahMaung briefed on the progress and way forward on the development of ASEAN Political and Security Community strategic plan and its template for the implementation of ASEAN Community Vision (2045) including its finalization at the 10th HLTF-ACV, under the theme of "Resilient, Innovation, Dynamic and People-Centered ASEAN".
The Deputy Minister encouraged the other respective pillars such as ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and ASEAN Socio-cultural Community (ASCC) to closely coordinate with the relevant sectoral bodies under each pillar on the development of respective strategic plans. She also shared her insights on the proposed action lines of the draft strategic plan of ASEAN Political and Security Community and stressed the importance of providing inputs to the draft action lines in line with Core National interests.
At the meeting, the proposed action lines under the strategic goals of the ASEAN Political and Security Community Strategic Plan were thoroughly discussed among the participants and exchanged their views in an open and candid manner. The Representatives from the AEC and ASCC Pillars also briefed on their works so far on the development of the relevant strategic plans for the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
