Development of PutaO: Food sufficiency and development works

A ceremony to mark the sufficiency of rice in PutaO area in 2025 was held at Rawan National Garden in PutaO of Kachin State on Saturday.

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Admiral Tin Aung San attended the ceremony and formally opened the event together with the Council member Daw Dwe Bu, the Union Ministers and the Chief Minister. To commemorate the event, the traditional Manaw dance was celebrated by the local ethnic cultural troupes together with department personnel.

After the ceremony, the Council member and party oversaw the operation process of solar-powered rice mill and thriving plantations, being operated by the State Economic Promotion Fund. They then inspected the construction progress of PutaO Plain Circular Road that connects 27 village-tracts in PutaO Township.
