Development of Agriculture and Livestock: Discussion focuses on spreading information via digital media

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is making all-out efforts for development of agriculture sector, providing technologies and education information to the farmers and breeders.

As part of an effort, monthly roundtable discussion was held on July 25th under the topic on “Development of Agriculture and Livestock information via digital media”. Deputy Minister Dr Tin Htut stressed the need to promote the systematic application of information and communication technology in providing agricultural techniques and education.

He added that plans are underway for easy access of these information through the use of digital media widely amogn the farmers. The discussion focused on the advantages of online education for agriculture and livestock sectors and ways to further develop these projects.
