Departure for China: Myanmar to attend the Global Public Security Forum

Myanmar delegation led by State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae departed Yangon for China on Sunday. Invited by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, the delegation is set to attend the Global Public Security Forum, held from September 8 to 10 in Lianyungang of Jiangsu Province.

Accompanied by senior representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the delegation was seen off by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and other ministry officials at Yangon International Airport.
