Denver HS students march to protest gun violence

Students from a Denver high school walked out of classes on Friday and marched to the Colorado state capitol to protest after the shooting death of a classmate.

The students, many wearing red, were from East High School, where 16-year-old Luis Garcia was shot while inside a parked car near the school last month. He was hospitalized and died Wednesday. The students were calling on legislators to act on gun violence and enhance school safety. No arrests have been made in the shooting yet.
