Denizli Earthquake Tremor

Denizli was shaken by a 5.1 magnitude earthquake on the first day of the new week. Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said the earthquake struck at 09:21 local time, with the epicenter in Buldan district. Schools where the tremor was felt were quickly evacuated as a precaution.

AFAD teams carried out field inspections following the quake. Cracks were detected in a building containing several workplaces in the Yenicekent neighborhood. Security measures were taken around the building.
