The illegal and destructive media outlet DVB has disseminated false news, claiming that 12 people died due to the launching of heavy weapons by the military in Rakhine State from November 1st to the present day.

The outlet quoted the AAPP Record and Research Unit. These illegal and destructive media outlets have been spreading fabricated news in various sectors to cause instability and conflicts in the country, sow discord between Tatmadaw and the people, and create misunderstandings about Tatmadaw in the international arena.

Tatmadaw is strictly abiding by the Rules of Engagement and Counter-Terrorism Operations to ensure the stability of the state, the rule of law, and the protection of the lives and properties of the people. The information disseminated by this destructive media is not true, as Tatmadaw never launched heavy weapons into residential areas.

But the terrorists intentionally launch heavy weapons into residential areas to disrupt peace and tranquility, resulting in the casualties of innocent people.
