Demonstration of Fire service ability: Shan State CM attended demonstration of Fire service ability

The fire fighters from the Fire Service Department of Shan State demonstrated the ability of modernized fire extinguishing, advanced search and rescue ability at Taunggyi District Fire Service station at 9 a.m. on 28th March.

The Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun observed the ability demonstration and urged the fire fighters to carry out sustainable study and practice on the fire fighting to mitigate the fire breakings, create more safety and good environment and minimize the losses caused by the fire breakings which hinder the development of the country.

Next, the fire fighters demonstrated the brave heart individual ability, putting out the oil fire with dry chemical powder (D.C.P), extinguishing fire with 3D Nozzle, demonstration of Tank Fire and the illustration of fire extinguishing and search and rescue practices in fire breaking in high rise building. The Chief minister, ministers and officials looked the demonstrations, observed the fire extinguishing and search and rescue equipments and the chief minister provided cash of honor to the fire fighters.

Next, the chief minister and party inspected the preparations for the matriculation examination center and the place to be constructed pandal for the Myanmar traditional Maha Thingyan water festival to be held in Taunggyi and instructed necessaries.
