Demonstration of Agricultural Machines: Magway Region Chief Minister attended the demonstration

Magway region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin together with region Minister for security and border affairs and region/district/Township level officials attended a demonstration of Sir Phoe Thar paddy strain growing in the extended field and met with the farmers attended the occasion on 5th of March.

First, the Chief minister and party heard the clarification of Township Staff Officer of the Agricultural Mechanization Department regarding the functions of the rice transplanting machine and seeders, price, usefulness and utilization in detail. Next, the Region Chief Minister gave necessary instructions to the farmers for achieving target yielding rate of summer paddy.

Next, the Region Chief Minister and party viewed the demonstration with Kubora 6 row rice transplanter, hand-held rice transplanter, 10 Row Seeder and Drum Seeder displayed in the field by the Department of Agricultural Mechanization and Department of Agriculture together with the local farmers and the officials concerned from the departments replied to the questions asked by the farmers.

Then, the Chief Minister gave necessary guidelines to the local farmers regarding with the solutions for the shortages in the agricultural sector and coordinated requirements reported by the farmers.
