Delta Air Lines plane on fire at Orlando International Airport

A Delta Air Lines passenger plane on Monday caught fire on the ground at Orlando International Airport, prompting the emergency evacuation of the 200 passengers, 10 crew members, and two pilots aboard flight.

The plane, bound for Atlanta, experienced an engine failure while it was on the tarmac before departing from Terminal B said in a statement. The Federal Aviation Administration states that passengers had to evacuate the plane using emergency slides before rescue and firefighting teams intervened and managed to extinguish the fire.
