Delegation left for Russia: Myanmar delegation left for Russian Federation

Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than departed for Russian Federation in the afternoon on 6th July by Myanmar International Airways from Yangon International Airport to attend 14th International Industrial Fair to be held from 8th to 10th July in   Yekaterinburg City of Russian Federation.

While staying in Russian Federation, Myanmar delegation will meet the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, the Lieutenant Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region and Director General of Tyazhpromexport Co., Ltd. (TPE) separately and carry out the discussion on the matters of steel manufacturing and the matters to be implemented for the No (2) Steel Mill (Pingpet) projects, study the steel manufacturing industries and pharmaceutical productions, attend the opening ceremony of trade fairs, observe the exhibition booths displayed and attend the International Industrial Fair related discussions.

At the Industrial Fairs, over 600 companies included Russian Federation State-Owned corporations will take part in the industrial fair and over 100 panel discussions under various topics will be conducted.

The delegation led by the Union Minister included 2 delegation members and they were seen off by the factory in-charges under the Ministry in Yangon Region, Region staff officer and officials from the Department of Industrial Supervision and Inspection and the second trade representatives of Russian Federation to Myanmar at Yangon International Airport, it’s learnt.
