Deep Depression: It Is Likely To Intensify Into The Cyclonic Storm

According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards and it is centered at about (235) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and about (255) Nautical miles Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India).

It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Deep  Depression is coded yellow stage. The Deep Depression is likely to intensify into the Cyclonic Storm during next (6)hrs and Severe Cyclonic Storm during next (24)hrs and move Northwestwards.

It is forecast to cross near Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on 25rd November. Weather is partly cloud over the Andaman sea and East Central Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
