December mass walk:Organized by Bago Region Government

The December mass walk (second week) event organized by Bago Region Government was conducted in Bago Township on Saturday morning.

30,000 people joined the mass walk including U Tin Oo, Economic affairs Minister and region ministers of Bago Region Government, region, district and township level departmental personnel, teachers and students from the Education Schools and Bago University, the trainees from the Midwife and Nursing Training School, civil society organizations and the residents of Bago Township.

Firstly, during the mass walk event, U Aung Win Oo. Minister of Social Affairs opened the ceremony with gunfire.The attendees walked from Bago Region No (3) Basic Education High School to Hinthawady United Sport Complex and conducted collective fitness dance. The staff from the Bago Region General Administration Department catered the participants in mass walk with steamed sticky rice and tea.
