Debunking False Claims: No arrests in Nga Tant Ai Village security operation

In a recent social media reports, fake news circulated alleging that 83 residents of Nga Tant Ai Village in Thapeikkyin Township of Mandalay Region were arrested in their village monastery during a security operation on December 27th. 

However, a member of the local security force has denied these claims, asserting that the Tatmadaw is conducting a security operation near the village due to terrorist activities involving looting and murder against the local community. The false information, disseminated by illegal and destructive media outlets, aims to incite public panic and create misunderstandings about the actions of the security forces.
