
Bogalay Tint Aung, Patron of the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, died on Thursday night, at the age of 100. Born in 1922, Bogalay Tint Aung was a famous composer, director and writer.
He was also the National Literary Award Winner. He has composed many all-time favourite songs including “Myet Wun Lae Pya Pya”, the theme song of famous movie “Hmone Shwe Yee”, and his songs were singing by many famous vocalists till to date.
He was the first recipient of the Myanmar Academy Award for lifetime achievement, and his movie “Nge Kyaum Swe” is very famous among the audience. In 2012, he was awarded the “Sithu” title for his outstanding performance for the national duty.
