Deadly gas tanker blast near Baghdad soccer field

A gas tanker exploded near a soccer field in northeastern Baghdad on Saturday, killing at least nine people and wounding 10 others, according to security officials.
Shrapnel from the tanker tore into the soccer pitch and nearby buildings. A statement issued by the Security Media Cell in Baghdad announced that a committee supervised by the Interior Ministry would be formed to investigate the causes.
